Deadline Announced for Corra Foundation’s Household Hardship Fund

Charities, community groups, and social enterprises have until 10 March 2023 to apply for funding to support families and vulnerable individuals across Scotland that are struggling to meet needs such as food, fuel, household items, or clothing.

Corra Foundation is offering grants of between £500 and £5,000 for charities, community groups, and social enterprises across Scotland to provide direct support to families and low-income individuals.

The Scottish Government has added money to the fund, which now has a total value of £2.5 million, for groups and organisations to provide cash or vouchers to meet pressing needs, including:

  • Food.
  • Fuel.
  • Household items.
  • Warm clothing.
  • Other essential items.

Groups that have an annual turnover of less than £100,000, strong local relationships with people in their community, and a proven track record of supporting people on low incomes, can apply. Food banks or pantries, or projects that distribute free food or meals to the community, can apply even if their income is over £100,000. All funding must be passed on to families and individuals by 30 June 2023.

The deadline for applications is 10 March 2023.
